1. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS

I understand and acknowledge that the use of the sauna hosted by Sorted Saunas involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

 - Dehydration

 - Heat-related illnesses (e.g., heat stroke, fainting)

 - Dizziness or fainting due to prolonged exposure

 - Exacerbation of pre-existing medical conditions

I acknowledge that these risks may arise from my own actions, the actions of others, or the design and condition of the facility.

2. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

I confirm that I am in good health and do not have any medical conditions, including but not limited to heart disease, high blood pressure, respiratory issues, or pregnancy, that may be aggravated by the use of a sauna.

I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to consult with a healthcare professional before using the sauna, especially if I have any concerns about my health or fitness for sauna use.

3. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of being allowed to use the sauna hosted by Sorted Saunas I voluntarily agree to assume all risks and accept full responsibility for any injury, illness, or other damage arising from my participation.

I hereby release, waive, and discharge Sorted Saunas, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or damages, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

4. AGREEMENT TO FOLLOW RULES AND GUIDELINES

I agree to adhere to all posted guidelines, rules, and instructions provided by Sorted Saunas staff. I understand that failure to comply with these rules may result in the suspension or termination of my sauna privileges.

Key rules include:

 - Alcohol and nudity are not permitted in the sauna. 

 - Staying hydrated and limiting sauna use to recommended time frames.

 - Avoiding sauna use under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

 - Immediately exiting the sauna if I feel lightheaded, dizzy, or unwell.

 - Washing feet in the bucket provided before entering the sauna 

 - Sitting on a towel at all times

 - Staying in the sauna for no longer than 20 min at a time (we recommend 5-15 min sessions)

 - Gently pouring water onto the sauna stove; drizzle, don't dump water

 - Only pouring the provided 'sauna water' on hot rocks and nothing else

 - Getting changed within your booked time slot.

 - Any hanging jewellery should be removed before entering the sauna to prevent burning.

​ - Any footwear or swim shoes should be removed before entering the sauna.

5. AGE REQUIREMENT

I certify that I am at least 16 years of age or have obtained parental/guardian consent as indicated below.

6. SIGNATURE AND AGREEMENT

I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms outlined in this waiver. I understand that by signing this document, I am waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue.

Any footwear or swim shoes should be removed before entering the sauna.

All persons using the sauna do so at their own risk. If you have any reservations regarding sauna use, it is essential that you consult your GP before making a booking.

All persons using the sea as a 'cold plunge' do so at their own risk. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are a capable swimmer and can handle being exposed to the cold temperatures and varying conditions of the sea.

Please refrain from bringing your own essential oils and other products for the session as these cannot be used in our sauna. Essential oils that haven't been approved for in-sauna use may react to the heat and release toxins, ignite on the stove, or create slippery surfaces inside the sauna.

​If you are making this booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make your group aware of the terms and conditions and to practice safe sauna use.

The Sorted Sauna operators reserve the right to refuse entry, cut short, or cancel sessions for any reason that may be deemed a health and safety risk, if there are concerns about risky behaviour, or if any of the above rules are not followed. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.
